OVERVIEW

Alternative and Augmentative communication (AAC) describes aids or systems that help people to communicate if they have difficulty speaking. There are two types of AAC: aided  and unaided. The Centre specialises in aided AAC.

We have a wide range of low tech and high tech communication aids. These range from alphabet charts to amplifiers to portable computers, with many variants along the way! We work hard to ensure that you are able to see the most up to date communication aids available.
